Community Service: Lending a helping hand.
Tim has volunteered over 80 hours as a Reading Buddy Mentor at Pinewood Elementary School since 2007. Each week during the school year he meets with his district-assigned “Reading Buddy” student and they read books, play games, practice math and have lunch together. Tim’s goal is to give all the Mounds View children a political “voice” in regards to the education they are receiving.
Tim is also actively involved with his church community at St. Odilia. He is a member of the 10 person Finance Council which manages the financials of the church and school. This group provides finance recommendations and advice to senior church leaders. He is currently serving a 3 year term.
